Description

The project investigates a modular vehicle concept for the mobility of the future in the 2035 time horizon. The focus is on passenger transport with a special emphasis on barrier-free use by people with reduced mobility. The goal is to give back a piece of freedom of movement, self-determination, and social participation through an independently usable mobility offering.

Conceived as a partially or fully autonomous class M1 vehicle, the concept sees itself as an alternative to private local transport and at the same time as a supplement to existing public transport services. Thanks to its modular design, the vehicle can react flexibly to different user requirements and deployment scenarios. The design combines the potentials of autonomous driving technologies with a user-centered design approach and demonstrates how inclusive, flexible, and demand-oriented mobility can be shaped in the future.
