The book project Many Stories. Gespräche über Migration brings together eight personal interviews with people with a history of migration. The interviewees report on their everyday lives, experiences with bureaucracy, multilingualism, belonging, and discrimination, as well as their perspectives on social coexistence in Germany.

Instead of abstract political debates about migration, the book focuses on personal voices. The interviews are accompanied by artistic collages and drawings that visually capture and deepen the emotional and biographical dimensions of the conversations. The combination of a documentary interview format and artistic illustration creates an independent aesthetic form that is both emotionally accessible and reflective.

The aim of the book is to provide insights into different realities of life, to promote empathy, and to encourage conversations about migration beyond polarized debates.
