Kremple Light - aus Krempel werde Licht

I wanted to create a long-term product-user relationship through storytelling. The product was meant to tell its user’s story. Many people own things they no longer use but don’t throw away because they are emotionally attached to them.
These can be old CDs, a broken backpack or childhood memories, for example. I wanted to transform these objects so they would gain a new purpose while retaining their emotional value and continuing to tell their story.
So I looked at how to create something new from a CD case. Through a special mechanism, closed, movable forms were created. These forms work well as lampshades. This led to Kremple Light: clutter turned into light.
The CD case was given new life, and the memory itself now has a presence and quite literally shines in a new light.
