Description
The project "if I had a body" questions the social role of dialog systems. For this purpose, shapes are generated from the data of artificial voices using a parametric design process. These shapes serve as a new interface of interaction, hence as a loudspeaker.
I focus on the question: What effect does the design of the device of a voice dialog system have on our conversation with this technologie?
Voice dialog systems take a place in our social environment through the possibility of verbal interaction. Therefore, social behaviors are involuntarily in us stimulated and socially shaped reactions are applied to the machine. Through a new design, space is created for an examination of the discrepancy between the machine and its humanization.
