Artificial intelligence is advancing at an unprecedented pace, with new technologies emerging almost daily. As progress accelerates, the boundary between humans and machines becomes increasingly blurred. CAPTCHAs remain effective only for a limited time, and with rapid advances in machine learning and AI, proving one’s humanity online is becoming ever more complex. Bots continue to develop new capabilities and are getting better at solving problems. In this new era of AI, I ask how we will be able to prove our human identity in the digital world in the future.
As part of this bachelor’s thesis, I developed a series of physical installations that function as case studies. They are intended to capture visitors’ attention while inviting them into my personal reflections. The project explores my thoughts, proposed solutions and concerns surrounding the future of digital identity.
