Description

The work addresses the problem of the exhibitability of experimental design, which is contextualised spatially, temporally, and socially differently than the usual exhibition content. Instead of retelling projects in an informative-documentary way, this experiment achieves further engagement in the exhibition context by re-examining excerpts and themes from the projects to be exhibited through a different medium. The five segments of the audio work refer to five projects that were worked on during the study period. One of the segments, for example, deals with the themes of publicity, identity, and the visibility of context-specific elements derived from the original project: a performatively erected monument under a false name. The other segments work on different levels of abstraction with topics such as participation, the work of designers, and sound and related spaces.
