Description
In my diploma thesis, I developed sustainable, shatterproof, and brand-enhancing packaging for one of my earlier ceramic projects from my studies. The aim was to create a design that is both functional and aesthetically convincing. The packaging is made exclusively from recyclable paper and cardboard in three different versions: kraft board, corrugated cardboard, and tissue paper.
The design uses contrasting shades of blue that stand out from the earthy brown tones of the products. Ink drawings of the coffee plant and flower-shaped details reflect the organic design language of the brand. An innovative closure mechanism ensures safety and a high-quality unboxing experience. The tapered shape at the top not only offers a space-saving and stabilising effect inside but also gives the packaging a distinctive unique selling point.
