Description

The idea behind the ‘ELA’ concept is to create a customisable and expandable system that adapts to the user’s needs and can be used individually to store clothing in various states of disrepair. The modular system should be quick and easy to use and solve the problem of unstructured clothing collections and unsightly clothes racks by becoming an integral part of the interior. The aim is to avoid the inconvenience of storing or removing a conventional clothes horse. The ease of use should make it a pleasure to use and increase the motivation to hang clothes neatly. There is a particular focus on making it easier to store worn clothes to encourage people not to wash clothes prematurely. Instead, airing clothes should be prioritised to encourage a more conscious approach to clothing.
