The design reflects the tension between nature, people and technology and presents an environmental design approach using local materials and additive manufacturing methods. The central element is a walk-through, additively manufactured installation that provides a direct, multi-sensory experience of nature and self. The installation is printed in nature from locally available clay using a mobile 3D printer on site. The design demonstrates that the conscious use of advanced technology and the integration of natural resources are crucial to maintaining a sustainable and respectful relationship with nature. The open spiral shape creates a protected space that still allows environmental influences to enter, encouraging the creation of ecological niches. This makes it possible to observe and participate in natural processes in a protected environment.
