Description
“The Mirror Room” is a scroll-based, interactive graphic novel about trauma, loss, and self-acceptance, creating a quiet, visually poetic journey through the inner world. With few dialogues, a narrative unfolds that works primarily through atmosphere, symbolism, and movement.
At the center is Alex, a young man whose path is shaped by shifting emotional landscapes and quiet healing. A central motif is a mirror that transforms over the course of the story and serves as a visual metaphor for acceptance and self-discovery.
Through the use of interactive digital means, the illustrations are enriched and the immersion into the narrative is deepened. “The Mirror Room” examines the interplay of classical illustration, interactivity, and animation, as well as their potential to make narrative experiences more intense and immersive.
