The Suitcase Theater
Discover, invent and create worlds in the suitcase theater.
With just a few simple steps, a wooden suitcase becomes a miniature stage. The stage can be used for performances, free play alone or together. The figures and scenery inside the suitcase are made of paper and are printed using offset lithography in the tradition of historical paper theater. Through production using analog printing processes, they create a connection between old and new, and give the play material a high value.
The underwater world “Nautronika” is available in the suitcase as a basic set. These are figures, scenery and props that are intended to challenge and inspire players to think up their own story for the world. They show what is possible and thus also provide a good basis for adapting the world to one’s own story and reinventing it. Get creative yourself, write a piece and invent worlds in the suitcase theater.
