Description
In my project I deal with the conception and design of a modular e-bike. My focus here is on the use of alternative, sustainable materials as well as optimized manufacturing methods for frame construction. A large part of my work represents considerations for the use of bio-composites or recyclates of the most common plastics in order to promote the return of problematic materials into a cycle or to rely entirely on renewable materials and to reduce the ecological footprint of our mobility. In addition, I am incorporating the use of new drive systems and components into my considerations. I understand my design as an attempt to develop a holistic concept for our mobility which should meet the demands of a future urban space.
