Many of us are confronted with illnesses and/or disabilities. They accompany us day after day. This series of objects entitled “Companion” is the result of a dialogue between myself and the experts/users living with hearing loss, epilepsy, and migraines. The experts/users shared their daily experiences with their illness and/or disability with me, and using an inclusive design approach, we developed a series of capsules that are individually tailored to the needs of each user.
