CIRCS

Description

CIRCS uses a digital and analogue interface to communicate the broad range the public mobility offers to travellers in their relative proximity. The particular focus of the design lies on the visualisation of time. The CIRCS app uses graphic elements to display the available mobility services, enabling users to get an immediate overview of the local public transport services and the corresponding departure times. Complementary to this, the CIRCS signpost forms an analogue anchor point in public space. A light animation provides information about the departure times of the various means of transport. Travellers can check the remaining time until the departure of their means of transport by simply glancing at the signpost. With CIRCS, travellers discover the available transportation options in a new way which in the long run makes public transport more accessible for many users.
