About Nicolette Naumann
Until her retirement in July 2021, Nicolette Naumann was Vice President for Ambiente, the world’s leading trade fair for the consumer goods sector. Prior to that, she was divisional director for the Ambiente and Tendence trade fairs from April 2002 to June 2016.
Naumann was also responsible for the international strategy of Ambiente Brands. This includes the Interior Lifestyle Tokyo and IFFT/Interior Lifestyle Living events in Japan, Interior Lifestyle China, Interior Lifestyle Middle East and Interior Lifestyle India presented by Ambiente India.
The art and design connoisseur has been a jury member of various awards, including the German Design Award, the Hong Kong Smart Design Award and the Home Style Award China.
In 2001, Naumann launched the “Talents” promotional program. This supports young designers on their way to a successful career, opens up sales channels and brings them together with trade visitors and exhibitors from all over the world at Ambiente.

Ambiente has been providing financial support for the German Design Graduates since 2019.
In addition, at least two participants of the German Design Graduates Show have the opportunity to take part in the Ambiente Talents program. This includes a free exhibition space in one of the two Talents areas of the fair. These are located in the immediate vicinity of well-known exhibitors from the consumer goods sector.
