A: 4, 6

Description

‘A:4, 6’ is an experimental investigation of a two-dimensional organisation system in a three-dimensional context. The result of this work is a modular piece of furniture for the room, based on the “DIN 476” standard, which also takes into account the dimension of material thickness. The design represents a construct of materialised thoughts and is at the same time the creation of conditions that reflect the application of standards. The experiment lies in translating the familiar format of paper sizes from centuries of history and development into new forms, grids and materials in the present.
