This bachelor thesis examines the design of a mobile urinal for menstruating people and asks how public toilets can better take into account the needs of FLINTA* individuals. The starting point is the observation that existing sanitary systems are primarily geared towards male bodies and exclude many people. In cooperation with TOI TOI & DIXI Sanitärsysteme GmbH, existing mobile toilet systems are analyzed and an alternative usage scenario is developed. The result is a urinal in the style of a classic TOI TOI cubicle that provides privacy while visibly questioning societal norms. Through interviews, model making, and prototyping, a system is created that addresses real needs and creates space for participation. The work combines analysis and design, understanding design as a tool for equality and less shame in everyday life. The title “6min/11sek” refers to the unequal waiting times for FLINTA*.
