The "Zente" concept is designed to sensitize children from the age of 10 to consciously deal with fake news. Different types of fake news are dealt with and questioned within the game. The playful approach facilitates the introduction to a complex topic. The hybrid learning game consists of playing cards, a web application for the smartphone or tablet, and talers for achievements. It can be played by two to six players. The game deals with five types of fake news. These are visualized by means of illustrated animal characters on the cards. The web application can be accessed through the QR code provided. It interactively displays headlines generated for the learning effect, which must be correctly assigned within the game. The introduction to the web application starts with an introductory video on the topic of fake news.
