Description

‘Weaving³’ modifies traditional weaving by transferring it into three-dimensional space. Inspired by a patchwork of industrial remnants, an innovative yet familiar technique is created that makes previous processes more transparent and their technology more tangible. Through an experimental approach, I have developed a special weaving frame that forms the basis for unique 3D fabrics through craftsmanship. These offer new insights into textile design and open up possibilities beyond conventional techniques. My work represents creative redesign and encourages the sustainable use of materials rather than wasting them. ‘Weaving³’ is a step away from mass consumption towards individual design and innovative solutions.
