Description
Wandler is a reinterpretation of the “silent servant”: functional, sustainable, aesthetic. Round wooden rods in various lengths are mounted on the wall or freely in the room and form a versatile basic framework.
The heart of the system consists of 3D-printed modules that enable tool-free, clip-on accessories such as coat hooks, shelves for glasses, helmets and keys. Combinable and adaptable, the system grows with its requirements and flexibly adjusts to life situations.
Against “fast furniture”, Wandler relies on durable, reusable furniture. In Germany, around 179 kg of household and bulky waste are generated per person/year, a large part of it from furniture. Wandler promotes a sustainable approach to living space.
As open source, Wandler is freely accessible. Users develop modules, adapt components or expand the system. 3D printing enables freedom of design and custom-made products.
Wandler is modular, sustainable and open – a system that stays because it can change.
