Piracema

Description

This project was born out of the desire to connect Colombia and Germany through design. In collaboration with the company Showroom 902, I developed a new furniture piece for their brand QUINTA EDICIÓN that is not only aesthetically appealing but also reflects the potential of both countries.

Traditional, contemporary, and innovative is the motto of this project. Colombian and German influences combined in one design.

Migration fosters cultural exchange and opens up entirely new possibilities. This chair builds a bridge between the two cultures, combining a sense of home with the prospect of integration into a new living environment. Its design demonstrates how integration can become an experience that honours traditions while opening new paths.
