The collection Perfect World is inspired by the experiences of discrimination, injustice, and violence faced by FLINTA individuals within the patriarchal world we live in. Their diverse emotions — such as anger, sadness, vulnerability, but also strength, liberation, and self-determination — are embedded in the materials, surfaces, bold contrasts, silhouettes, patterns, and meaningful symbols.
The collection invites viewers to (re)think and challenges preconceived ideas and stereotypes about gender and clothing, as well as their restrictive impact on individuality and self-expression. Elements such as reversed shirts, overly long sleeves, missing pieces, and unfinished edges provoke questions about societal expectations and open the door to alternative possibilities. In doing so, Perfect World fosters a deeper understanding of diversity and individuality as enriching and empowering forces for everyone.
