Description

Omnia is a modular system for creating structures that can function as furniture and / or architectural elements. The design is based on dealing with the issue of housing shortages in cities and the basic principles of quality of living. It describes the need to create a lasting transcendence between furniture and architecture. Using simple construction principles, simple or complex structures can be created, which can be freely expanded in height, width and depth. Six different panel formats and special connectors form the basic elements to integrate individual structures for storing, activity islands, playgrounds, areas of retreat or room dividers in every room. All decisions are reversible and the system can be used again and again in new scenarios.
