My bachelor’s project explores a future model for potential Olympic Games in Germany in 2040 under the theme ‘50 Years of Reunification’.
What should the Olympics look like in 15 years? How can such a major event meet the demands of sustainability?
I explored emerging issues, questions, and topics of discussion through research and self-developed concepts, and speculatively envisioned an Olympics for the future that is both sustainable and unifying.
In addition, I experimentally developed logo designs symbolising the idea of a shared future, and created a corporate identity that runs from the design concept through to the actual event — establishing a speculative vision for an Olympic Games that is not only sustainable but also forward-looking.
