About Katrin Krupka
Katrin Krupka works at the interface of design, material and process technology with a focus on innovative and sustainable materials
In studies and experiments, she uncovers, alone and in cooperation with other designers, the potential and application areas of materials and technologies. The Berlin-based designer creates material and designs with material.
For her case studies, she cooperates, for example, with möve GmbH, Kinnasand and research institutions such as the Saxon Textile Research Institute, the BASF Design Factory and the University of Porto.
Katrin Krupka has been teaching at various universities since 2015. For example at the UDK Berlin, the BURG Giebichenstein, Berlin International and the Bauhaus University Weimar. From October 2019 she will take over the deputy professorship ‘Material and Environment’ at the Bauhaus University Weimar.
Project Management
Katrin Krupka is responsible for the planning, implementation, acceptance and follow-up of the entire project.
She coordinates and delegates tasks, and is responsible for assembling and leading a well-functioning project team, identifying problems early on and eliminating them.
In strategy development and implementation, acts as a liaison between initiators and project staff.
In cooperation with the project sponsor, Katrin Krupka is responsible for budget planning, risk assessment and also keeps the big project overview.
Katrin Krupka supports the GDG initiative in the areas of on- and offline strategy, corporate identity, as well as communication.
In partner acquisition, communication and support of ambassadors, universities, graduates and media partners she is in close contact with all involved partners.
Furthermore, Katrin Krupka is responsible for the planning and implementation of the jury process.
