Description

lamory tells the inspiring stories of courageous women who often stood in the shadow of history or were forgotten. Each candle represents one of these women. Through a booklet and an accessible audio version, viewers can learn more about their stories. The shape of the candle is inspired by the chess queen — an often underestimated piece that serves to protect the king yet has the greatest freedom of movement in the game. Through emotional design and provocative slogans, the project encourages attention, remembrance, and action.
