The concept "Common Glyphs" explores the performative potential of baking images as a method for internalising our environment, its symbols and urgent topics through metabolic learning. The cultural technique and tool got updated. Referring to the traditional practice, the focus is on the baking process itself, as strategy for empowerment, as well as on the internalisation of various themes: What do we currently have to digest? How can we have a dialogue about it? The biscuits do not offer any kind of solution, they rather aim to be ritual mediums and representative items for an exchange on this, its importance and meaning. Baking, eating an digesting them together is food for thought and conversation.
