Building Teenage Resilience
Digital Prevention in Schools
Description
The mental health of adolescents is steadily deteriorating – in 2021 alone, almost one third of children in Germany showed abnormalities, and in 2022, half of all adolescents expressed fears about the future. Preventive measures are often lacking in everyday life. This is where Building Teenage Resilience comes in: the digital platform teaches skills such as emotional regulation, communication and problem-solving through interactive school formats. It is complemented by mindfulness exercises, break routines and continuous emotion tracking, embedding mental health knowledge into daily life.
A personal student profile and the chatbot Ehm offer low-threshold access to individually tailored resources. Intelligent monitoring questions help identify stress factors early and provide appropriate support – data-driven, effective and practice-oriented.
