About Marte Henschel – VORN – The Berlin Fashion Hub and BSP Business & Law School
Marte Hentschel is an entrepreneur, professor and expert in sustainable transformation in the fashion industry. In 2009, she founded the production agency Common Works and in 2015, Sourcebook GmbH, which connects over 30,000 brands, manufacturers and suppliers worldwide in the field of sustainable production via the Sqetch.co platform. As co-initiator of VORN – The Berlin Fashion Hub, she has been actively shaping the future of the textile industry at the interface of design, technology and research since 2021. Hentschel teaches as a professor of sustainable fashion at the BSP Business & Law School and volunteers for organisations such as the Fashion Council Germany and the European Fashion Alliance.
