About Lynn Harles
Lynn Harles is Creative Engagement Manager at the Berlin School of Public Engagement and Open Science, a collaboration between the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Robert Bosch Stiftung as part of the Science Campus Berlin.
Lynn Harles is concerned with exploring the potential of the interdisciplinary intersection of design and science in relation to social, technological and environmental challenges. For her, the role of design is not only to develop sustainable products, but rather to act as a translator and facilitator in responsible research and innovation processes. The design discipline itself is a scientific field in its own right, renegotiating the boundaries and understanding of science.
