About Anniek Timmermann
Anniek Timmermann is an industrial designer with a focus on sustainability and technology. She has been working in Berlin at PCH Innovations since 2022. There she is part of the team developing a textile repair work station as part of the EU consortium CISUTAC (Circular & Sustainable Textiles & Clothing). Anniek studied Industrial Design at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle, as well as the ESADSE, France, and the Glasgow School of Arts, Scotland. During her studies, she worked as a student research assistant in the departments of material | technology | sustainability with Prof. Mareike Gast and Experimental Design Methods with Prof. Christian Zöllner. Before her studies, Anniek completed an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker. Anniek likes to work at the intersection of contrasting disciplines and sees design as a means to bring different interest groups together.

PCH Innovations is a Berlin-based creative engineering studio that applies 18 years of expertise to the development of exploratory vision, technology and experiences.
