About Andreas Maegerlein
Andreas Maegerlein trained as an engineer and designer. After working in various design offices and the innovation department at Fischer Befestigungstechnik, he joined BASF SE in 2008. Initially in various functions in engineering plastics, Andreas Maegerlein is now the team leader responsible for the BASF Creation Center in Ludwigshafen.
BASF’s Creation Centers build a bridge between the visions of designers and the possibilities of plastics, support customers in the early phases of product development with materials, sample parts and services and work as a control centre in the global BASF network.
