Description
Beyond Visual Interfaces is a series of prototypes offering an alternative to touchscreen interactions, based on the human need for exploration through touch. Modern technology often relies on visual feedback and overlooks the many possibilities of human perception.
This project explores the potential of haptics with the aim of redefining human-machine interaction by creating intuitive user interfaces without mechanical parts. The prototypes use feedback in the form of vibration patterns and the affordance of shapes, following the ‘High Touch-High Tech’ concept.
