About Daniela Bohlinger
Prof. Daniela Bohlinger works intensively on the topics of sustainability and circular economy in the design process. In her role as “Head of Sustainability” at BMW, she has also brought the development of long-term strategic approaches to more holistic, sustainable design to various universities and institutions. Her aim is to promote a rethink in the area of sustainability and to anchor it deeply in the structures.
In addition to her professorship in Umeå, Sweden, she is a member of various scholarship committees (Fulbright, German Academic Scholarship Foundation) and is requested as an expert for jury work and lectures precisely because of her knowledge, conviction and critical scrutiny.
