GDG offers a wide range of presentation and professionalisation opportunities for higher-education institutions and young designers. The focus is on networking with diverse actors from culture, business and industry. Through digital presentation, analogue exhibition and discussion formats and targeted communication measures, we support the start of a design career.

All submissions receive access to our extensive Award & Support programme. Selected by top-class juries, four awards in the areas of Design Culture, Social Design, Design Research and, this year, Circular Design are presented to outstanding graduates. The GDG ambassadors support selected graduates with individual support in the form of residencies and workshops, publications, trade fair and festival presentations and mentoring.

An independent jury of renowned experts selects projects with very high-quality prototypes for an exhibition at a major German museum. The exhibition is accompanied by a discursive supporting programme
